June is an extraordinarily busy month. From tomorrow until June 15, the acoustic duo Dykes & Young — with bassist Laura Dykes — tours the Northeast: Glenmoore PA, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Catskill NY, and Boston. June 19 I perform with partner Evie Morrel-Samuels at a secret Boston park location. June 21–23: World/Inferno Friendship Society shows in Jersey City, Boston, and another secret location. June 27–30: the inaugural tour of electroacoustic duo Wise & Young with percussionist Pete Wise, playing West Stockbridge MA, Boston, Providence, and Brooklyn.
Recent highlights: thingNY premiering Dave Ruder’s new composition across Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania; World/Inferno sets from a parking lot in Huntington Beach CA to Punk Rock Bowling in Vegas; and organizing a Lucerne Festival Alumni reunion in Brooklyn.
Looking further ahead: recording Rick Burkhardt’s work in July, World/Inferno’s August NYC-to-Minneapolis tour, and an artist residency in Graz, Austria in the fall. I’m also relocating to Philadelphia.
